About MicroMitti
MicroMitti is India’s first co-investment PropTech platform, founded in 2024 and headquartered in Indore. Unlike fractional-ownership models, MicroMitti deploys its own capital alongside its investors into whole, undivided land and development assets — keeping the company’s skin in the game on every deal and aligning its returns directly with those of the everyday investor. With ₹90 crore raised, a 90+ member team, and landmark projects including Cyber City (an IT Park on Indore’s Super Corridor), The Selene, and Madhuvan, MicroMitti is closing the trust gap in real estate and democratizing institutional-grade property investment across Tier 2 and Tier 3 Bharat.

Department: Finance | Location: Indore | Reporting to: Founder & CEO (close partnership with CFO and COO)
This role owns the internal finance function — controls, reporting integrity, accounting, compliance, and collections — and is the engine room that feeds clean, audit-grade numbers to the CFO for investor reporting and to leadership for decisions.
Role Overview
The Head of Finance owns MicroMitti’s day-to-day finance function and is accountable for one thing above all: a single, audit-grade source of truth for every number. This person builds the controls, reporting, MIS, and collections discipline that the company currently needs — ensuring one project shows one number across every department — and provides the CFO and CEO with numbers they can stand behind in front of investors and the board.
Why this role matters now: Today the same project can show three different totals across three departments, the EBITDA trend needs arresting, and Madhuvan receivables are uncollected. This role exists to fix exactly that — trustworthy books, tight controls, and a working collections engine.
Key Responsibility Areas
Reporting Integrity & Single Source of Truth
- Establish one reliable set of numbers per project across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Construction — eliminating conflicting totals.
- Deliver timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and project-wise P&L.
- Build dashboards and MIS that leadership and the CFO can trust for decisions and investor reporting.
Financial Control & Audit Readiness
- Own accounting, controls, approval frameworks, and treasury; build audit readiness from the ground up.
- Maintain robust internal controls and a clean, auditable trail across all transactions.
EBITDA, Unit Economics & Collections
- Track and help arrest the EBITDA trajectory; partner with the COO on cost-to-output alignment.
- Build and run a collections engine to convert booked revenue into realized cash (Madhuvan receivables are an immediate priority).
- Maintain project-level unit economics — ROI, IRR, yield, cost per acquisition — and feed them to the CFO and leadership.
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure full statutory compliance — GST, TDS, income tax, Companies Act filings, and other regulatory obligations — accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax advisors.
Team & Process
- Build and mentor the accounts and finance team; install scalable, disciplined finance processes and SOPs.
- Provide the CFO with clean, investor-ready numbers and support diligence during fundraising.
Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) strongly preferred; MBA (Finance) an advantage.
Experience
- 10–15 years in finance, controllership, or financial reporting — ideally in real estate, infrastructure, or PropTech.
- Proven record of building or fixing a finance function: clean MIS, controls, compliance, and collections in a growing company.
- Hands-on, detail-driven operator comfortable in a founder-led, Indore-based environment.
Core Skills
- Financial control and reporting integrity · MIS and audit readiness · Taxation and statutory compliance · EBITDA and unit-economics tracking · Receivables and treasury · Finance-team building.
